Colton Allen is a Montana native and a fifth generation rancher. He grew up on the family ranch in the Musselshell Valley North of Melstone. He spent his youth hunting, fishing, and working cattle. After high school he served six years in the military and spent a year in SW Afghanistan as a combat engineer. He studied two years of Animal and Range Science at Montana State University. Colton currently resides on the family ranch with his wife Sara and two sons.
Aside from the ranch Colton is a hunting guide and property manager. He is passionate about using his knowledge of range management, farming, conservation and wildlife to develop diverse recreational properties. He has a deep connection with the Montana landscape and enjoys seeing thoughtful management culminate in successful hunts and wildlife diversity.
